Alia in the Clouds
This installation is a generous gift from Beta Technologies to its neighbor, Burlington International Airport. Inspired by the concept of biomimicry evident in the nature-inspired design of 'ALIA', Beta's innovative electric VTOL aircraft, this artwork pays homage to the grace of the Arctic tern and to the cutting-edge innovation of 'ALIA'.

The Build
I was fortunate to be part of a skilled team to create this installation.
Here are a few images to shine some light on the process and the fabulous folks who worked on it. Many thanks to the skilled hands of Philip Retzloff, Abbey Blankenslop, Aaron Stein and Shannon Murphy.
